There is nothing more frustrating than trying to open an important PDF file only to see an error message: "The file is damaged and could not be repaired."
Why do PDFs get corrupted?
Corruption can happen due to interrupted downloads, hard drive errors, or faulty software saving the file. The internal structure (XREF table) gets broken, making the file unreadable.
The Solution
Our Repair Tool analyzes the raw data of your file and attempts to rebuild the internal index. While it cannot recover data that is physically missing, it works wonders for files with header/footer errors.
