Why do I get “Wrong password”?

Please make sure you typed the exact open password. Passwords are case-sensitive.

Can you unlock any PDF?

We only unlock PDFs you own and for which you know the correct password. Some enterprise DRM-protected files may not be supported.

Will the output PDF remain encrypted?

No. The unlocked copy is saved without an open password. You can re-protect it later using the Protect PDF tool.
